Fans of Crayon Shin-chan have something to look forward to this summer: the popular guaranteed-prize lottery Ichiban Kuji is launching a brand-new summer-themed set titled Ichiban Kuji Crayon Shin-chan: Natsu no Vacation da zo (一番くじ クレヨンしんちゃん 夏のバケーションだゾ) on Saturday, 8 August 2026.
A National Treasure for Over Three Decades
Crayon Shin-chan began as a manga by Yoshito Usui, serialised in Manga Action magazine from 1990. The TV anime adaptation launched in 1992 and quickly grew into a beloved national institution enjoyed by audiences of all ages. The series follows five-year-old Shinnosuke Nohara and his family — salaryman dad Hiroshi, spirited mum Misae, baby sister Himawari, and pet dog Shiro — through their riotous everyday adventures.
In October 2025, the official spin-off manga Nohara Hiroshi: Hirumeshi no Ryugi also received a TV anime adaptation. On the film side, the franchise’s theatrical run began in 1993, and its 33rd movie, Crayon Shin-chan: Kiki Kaikkai! Ora no Yokai Bake-shon, is set to open in July 2026.

- Prize G — “Rubber Collection”: Choose your favourite design.

- Last One Prize — “Penguin Shin-chan Plush”: Shinnosuke dressed in a penguin costume eating an ice cream, approximately 30 cm tall — exclusive to whoever draws the final ticket.
Release Details
The set goes on sale from 8 August 2026 at Ichiban Kuji official shops, Ministop, Daily Yamazaki, other convenience stores, bookshops, hobby shops, select cinemas, and select drugstores across Japan. The Ichiban Kuji ONLINE store will begin sales on Wednesday, 19 August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Each draw costs ¥700 (tax included).
