The September 2026 issue of Da Vinci magazine, published by KADOKAWA, went on sale today, August 6, headlined by an extensive special feature on the hit manga Blue Lock, drawn by Yusuke Nomura from an original story by Muneyuki Kaneshiro.
Feature: “Be Imprisoned in Blue Lock”
Titled “Be Imprisoned in Blue Lock,” the feature takes readers deep into the series through overviews of the story, character spotlights, memorable scenes, and iconic lines. It also includes a conversation between creator duo Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura.
Cast and Artist Interviews
On the live-action film side, the issue features interviews with:
- Fumiya Takahashi, who plays protagonist Yoichi Isagi
- K (of &TEAM), who plays Seishiro Nagi
- Ado, the artist performing the film’s theme song
From the anime, Ki Urawa, the voice of Isagi, and Koki Uchiyama, the voice of Rin Itoshi, also sat down for interviews.
Pro Footballer Picks His Blue Lock Dream Eleven
One of the issue’s most distinctive segments is “Pro Players Read Blue Lock & My Eleven,” featuring Asahi Uenaka of Gamba Osaka. The footballer shares his thoughts on the series and reveals his personal dream eleven assembled from Blue Lock characters.
