The TV anime 攻殻機動隊 THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, based on Shirow Masamune‘s original manga, has released the Episode Visual, synopsis, and scene cuts for Episode 3, titled “JUNK JUNGLE ii + MEGATECH MACHINE i + ii”. The episode is set to air and stream on July 21.

The series’ ongoing Episode Visual project extracts a unique concept or theme from each episode and presents it as an alternative-design poster released alongside the broadcast. For Episode 3, the visual was created by designer and video director Akira Gunji of maxilla.
Episode 3 Synopsis
After a fierce high-speed pursuit involving the Fuchikoma units, Kusanagi and Togusa successfully apprehend a suspect. Meanwhile, as Aramaki and Batou maintain their stakeout, a mysterious hacker known as the Puppet Master (人形使い) — believed to be the one who planted a virus targeting Colonel Malles — makes an unexpected appearance before them.
