Bandai’s battle toy Gyakkoten BariBariBirth has been adapted into a YouTube anime series, now streaming on the title’s official YouTube channel.
What Is Gyakkoten BariBariBirth?
Gyakkoten BariBariBirth is a battle toy in which players flick special coins called BaribaKoins at each other. Each coin is inhabited by a creature known as a Baribii, which possesses two distinct natures. The goal is to flip your opponent’s coin face-down to win. The coins feature two sides: the Order Side, representing the world’s order, and the Extreme Side, representing the pursuit of absolute freedom.
Manga and Anime Story
A manga adaptation by Kakemaru Sho is currently serialized in Monthly CoroCoro Comic (Shogakukan). The story follows a boy named Urakaze Manato, who picks up a mysterious coin and encounters a strange creature called Rattie that emerges from it. Together, they dive into the world of “BariBattles.”
The first episode of the YouTube anime focuses on Rattie and fellow Extreme Side Baribii running wild.
