โอกาซากิ โนบุฮิโกะ สัมผัสประสบการณ์在งาน Haikyuu!! On the Court ที่เบลซาล ร็อปปงงิ โตเกียว

The immersive exhibition “Haikyuu!! On the Court” — officially titled バレーボール超体験空間「Haikyuu!! On the Court」 — opened its Tokyo run at Bellesalle Roppongi on August 7, 2026, giving fans a chance to step inside the world of the hit volleyball anime. The venue will remain open through September 13, 2026.

Media Preview with Special Guests

On the eve of the opening, August 6, organizers held a media preview attended by Okamoto Nobuhiko, the voice of libero Nishinoya Yu from Karasuno High. Joining him were Yanagida Masahiro, a professional player for the Tokyo Great Bears volleyball club, Sugai Shunki of the popular quiz group QuizKnock and a self-professed Haikyuu!! superfan, and a group of young volleyball players from Tokyo.

Exploring the Exhibition Zones

Okamoto toured each area of the venue, including the “Tsunagu” (Connect) booth, which features an enormous tapestry showcasing the series’ libero characters and recreates the atmosphere of the anime on a grand scale.

At the “Aim for the Highest Point Challenge!” zone, Okamoto warmed up with thorough stretching before taking on a jump-height contest against Tsukishima Kei. He attempted the challenge multiple times and, afterward, said with a smile: “Being able to take photos with the characters is a great touch.”

Synchro Court: Too Fast to Follow

In the Synchro Court zone, Okamoto was visibly overwhelmed by the pace of the action. “At first the combination was so fast I couldn’t see it at all! Hinata Shoyo moves so much — it was incredible,” he said. He advised fans: “Lean forward and try to take in the whole picture — the ball and all the players’ movements at once.”

A 0.05% Achievement: Okamoto Claims the “Libero” Title

The day’s standout moment came at the “Gachi Receive Battle!” in the Tsunagu booth, where Okamoto declared his intention: “As the voice of Nishinoya, I have to reach Libero rank!”

He struggled at first, admitting “Ushijima’s and Miya’s serves are way too fast — it’s brutal!” But on his fourth attempt, he received every single ball successfully, scoring a “Perfect” and earning the coveted “Libero” title. The achievement has a completion rate of just 0.05% — roughly one in every 2,000 players.

Reflections from the Voice Actor

After the experience, Okamoto was effusive: “I don’t think there’s ever been anything that lets you feel the world of Haikyuu!! this deeply.” He also reflected on what the physical challenge taught him: “As Nishinoya’s voice actor, I was so happy to feel what being a libero is like. But honestly, 0.2 seconds is brutal. I can’t believe he’s reading the ball and reacting in that tiny window.”

On how to enjoy the exhibition, he encouraged solo visits: “You might feel a little shy the first time, but please try it on your own! Compare your results with other visitors — that’s part of the fun.” He also offered a voice-actor’s perspective: “The characters’ voices play throughout the venue, so please stop and listen. Try closing your eyes and just immersing yourself in the world of Haikyuu!! through sound.”
