Prize details for a new Ichiban Kuji (一番くじ) lottery tied to the theatrical film Gekijouban Kusuriya no Hitorigoto: Bouhi no Hihou (劇場版 薬屋のひとりごと 亡妃の秘宝) have been partially revealed. The lottery goes on sale from Saturday, December 5, 2026 at FamilyMart and other participating retailers, priced at 800 yen per draw (tax included).
About Kusuriya no Hitorigoto
Based on the light novel series written by Hinata Natsu and illustrated by Shino Touko, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto follows Maomao, a young apothecary serving as a poison taster in the imperial court’s inner palace, as she unravels a series of mysterious incidents. The TV anime first aired in October 2023, with Season 2 following in January 2025. Season 3 and the franchise’s first theatrical film are both scheduled for 2026. A live-action drama starring Ashida Mana has also been announced.
Revealed Prizes
- Prize A — “Maomao Dioramiquemaster”: A non-scale figure of Maomao complete with a themed display base that evokes the world of the story.
- Prize B — “Jinshi Dioramiquemaster”: A matching non-scale figure of Jinshi (壬氏), also featuring an elaborately crafted display base.
- Last One Prize — Maomao Figure: Approximately 18 cm tall, awarded to whoever draws the final ticket in the lot.
- Double Chance Campaign — Maomao Figure: The same figure as the Last One Prize, available through a separate campaign entry.
Prizes C–H Still to Be Announced
Details for prizes C through H have not yet been disclosed and will be revealed at a later date. Fans are eagerly awaiting further news on what merchandise will accompany the franchise’s very first theatrical release.
