To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the TV anime Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san (Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro), based on the manga by Nanashi serialized in Magazine Pocket from 2017 to 2024, the official KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE YouTube channel will host a free streaming event for both seasons. Nanashi also drew a special commemorative illustration to mark the occasion.

Free Streaming Schedule on YouTube

For Season 1 (which aired in 2021), Episodes 1–3 will be made available early on July 17 at 8:00 PM JST. All 12 episodes will then be freely accessible from July 24 at 8:00 PM JST through August 24 at 11:59 PM JST.

Season 2, Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san 2nd Attack (2023), will be streamed free in full — all 12 episodes — from August 7 at 8:00 PM JST through September 7 at 11:59 PM JST.

Season 2 Character Song Album Goes Worldwide

The Season 2 character song album, featuring 14 tracks, will be released globally on music streaming platforms on August 7 at midnight JST. Highlights include a duet by Sumire Uesaka (Nagatoro) and Yoshino Nanjou (Ane-toro), as well as solo tracks by Nana Mizuki (Buchou) and Sayumi Suzushiro (Sunomiya).

The Anileap channel on YouTube — which streams anime songs live 24 hours a day, 365 days a year — will also feature a special playlist themed around a fictional character song concert dubbed “NAGATORO SUPER LIVE,” beginning August 8 at 6:00 PM JST across multiple time slots.

Cast Comments

Sumire Uesaka (Nagatoro) said she enjoyed voicing every side of Nagatoro, from her fierce teasing to her more endearing moments, and that the series holds many fond memories — from theme songs and character songs to events and the horror radio program Ijiraraji! with Ainya. She expressed hope to reunite with the characters again someday.

Daiki Yamashita (Senpai) noted that Season 1 leaned heavily into intense teasing while Season 2 brought a sweeter flavor, and encouraged fans to revisit and get teased all over again.

Mikako Komatsu (Gamo-chan) recalled that the recording sessions involved a lot of ad-libbing each episode, and that the line “Paisen, getto daze!” left a particularly strong impression on her.

Aina Suzuki (Yoshi) described pouring her energy into conveying Yoshi’s charm as the group’s mascot character, and fondly remembered the radio program she did alongside Uesaka.

Shiori Izawa (Sakura) admitted she still listens to Sakura’s character song on repeat, and reflected that the series reminds her of how precious school-age years truly are.

Nana Mizuki (Buchou) described Buchou as a wildly unique character who would suddenly launch into passionate speeches about “love” and always stayed true to her own beliefs — a role Mizuki approached with complete sincerity.

Yoshino Nanjou (Ane-toro) revealed she watched all of Season 1 before recording Season 2 — and ended up crying — arriving at the studio with her love for Hayase at its peak.

Sayumi Suzushiro (Sunomiya) shared that Sunomiya’s debut scene in Season 2 was nerve-wracking to record, and that she has a special fondness for the character’s solo song “Aegis of Love.”

Kaori Maeda (Orihara) said she was moved by the straightforwardness of every character, and asked fans to pay attention to Orihara’s all-out showdown with Nagatoro in particular.
