The fantasy novel Kaketa Tsuki no Mercedes ~Kyuuketsuki no Kizoku ni Tensei Shita kedo Suteraresou nanode Dungeon wo Seifuku Suru~ by author Entou is getting a TV anime adaptation set to premiere in January 2027. The announcement came alongside a teaser visual, the first promotional video, cast information, and full staff details.
Story
The series follows Mercedes Grünewald, a young girl who was once an ordinary office worker in modern Japan before being reincarnated as a vampire noble. Haunted by deep regret over her previous life — which she felt she had wasted without purpose — Mercedes resolves to forge her own path in this new life by taking on dungeons as a Seeker. However, as she hones her abilities, she finds herself confronted by the great mysteries lurking within the dungeons and a fearsome monster waiting at their deepest depths.
The original novel has been published up to five volumes by TO Books, while the manga adaptation illustrated by Edoya Pochi has reached six volumes.

The teaser visual depicts Mercedes smiling against the backdrop of a large moon floating in the night sky. The first PV opens with a figure — seemingly Mercedes in her past life — falling from somewhere unknown, before transitioning in its latter half to action sequences featuring Mercedes in her vampire form.
