โลโก้ POP Culture Style IKEBUKURO พื้นที่ป็อปคัลเจอร์แห่งใหม่ของ KDDI ในอิเกะบุกุโระ โตเกียว

KDDI will open POP Culture Style IKEBUKURO, a new pop-culture experience destination, on July 3 on the second floor of au Style IKEBUKURO in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro district.

A New Kind of au Style Store

The venue marks the first iteration of a reimagined au Style flagship concept, blending each neighbourhood’s distinct culture with KDDI’s digital technology and partner companies’ expertise. Given Ikebukuro’s reputation as a hub for anime and manga, the store will offer a range of novel entertainment experiences, including:

  • Customer service provided by Zinn, an AI-powered “virtual human” designed to closely resemble a real person
  • Large-format digital signage recreating the worlds and real-world pilgrimage sites (seichi) of anime titles

Two Zones Inside

The interior is divided into an event space and a goods shop. Pop-up shops will be held in the event space, while the goods shop will stock and sell products from Natalie Store, the online shop operated by Natasha, the facility’s operating partner.

Two Launch Pop-Up Shops

As the venue’s inaugural programming, two pop-up shops will run simultaneously:

  • “Love Live! Series PremiumShop” Summer Birthday Collection — running from July 3 to October 1
  • “Mairimashita! Iruma-kun” PremiumShop — running from July 3 to 30

Visitors to either pop-up will receive a sticker as a store-visit bonus. Full event details are available on the facility’s official website.
