Japanese family restaurant chain Joyful has announced the third and fourth phases of its ongoing collaboration with the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer). The new phases introduce seven additional themed menu items, bringing the total collab lineup to 13 dishes when combined with the six popular items carried over from phases 1 and 2.
About Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, published by Shueisha under the Jump Comics label, with cumulative print runs exceeding 150 million copies. The story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a boy whose family is slaughtered by demons, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps in a bid to restore his demon-turned sister Nezuko to human form. The anime is produced by ufotable and first aired in April 2019. The theatrical trilogy Gekijouban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugen-jou-hen is currently in release, with the first chapter — “Chapter 1: Akaza Returns” — having opened in cinemas on July 18, 2025. A full-series rebroadcast also began on April 5, 2026, airing every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
Phase 3 Menu (Aug. 18 – Sep. 8, 2026)
Phase 3 exclusive items go on sale from August 18, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. through September 8, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., featuring three dishes:
- “Iguro Obanai and Kaburamaru’s Joint Battle Platter” — a dish spotlighting Iguro’s serpent companion Kaburamaru reimagined as an adorable spiral sausage.
- “The Shinazugawa Brothers’ Favorite Comfort Dessert Plate” — a dessert inspired by the beloved treats of the Shinazugawa siblings.
- “Nakime’s Dimension-Ruling One-Eyed Napolitan” — a spaghetti Napolitan designed around the single-eyed demon who controls space.
Phase 4 Menu (Sep. 8 – Sep. 29, 2026)
Phase 4 exclusive items are available from September 8, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. through September 29, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., with four dishes:
- “Hashibira Inosuke’s Favorite Tempura Pork Rice Bowl” — a donburi topped with tempura, nodding to Inosuke’s love of the dish.
- “Kocho Shinobu’s Butterfly Dance Grilled Chicken Salad with Garlic Toast” — a salad inspired by Shinobu’s butterfly-themed fighting style.
- “Himejima Gyomei’s Iron-Mass Hamburg Steak & Fortress Pork Steak Combo” — a hearty combo plate befitting the Stone Hashira’s immense strength.
- “Kokushibo’s Six-Eyes Tiramisu Pancake” — a tiramisu pancake designed to evoke the Upper Moon demon’s six eyes.
Novelty Gifts & Special Campaigns
Guests who order any collab menu item will receive a free limited novelty gift:
- Phase 3: One original can badge (20 designs total) per collab item ordered — perfect for bags and pouches.
- Phase 4: One original drawstring pouch (kinchaku) (20 designs total) per collab item ordered.
Additionally, for every ¥2,000 (tax included) spent on orders that include a collab item, guests receive one exclusive puffy sticker — limited to the first 50,000 stickers distributed.
The official Joyful app will also feature limited-time character-themed check-in stamps during the campaign period. On X (Twitter) and Instagram, a social media campaign will give participants a chance to win newly illustrated merchandise through a lottery.
Select locations will also carry a limited-quantity capsule toy series — “Joyful Original Mini Plates (Mamezara)” in 6 designs at ¥500 per play, available while supplies last.
