Bandai Namco Filmworks has announced the main cast, staff, and premiere window for Koma-Dori Mofmof Parade (also known as KomaMof), a stop-motion anime based on the Mofmof Parade (MofPara) project featuring the chibi “Mofmof” characters from the IDOLiSH7 franchise. The series is set to debut in January 2027 on TV Tokyo and five affiliated channels.

Staff
The anime is based on the original work by Bandai Namco Entertainment and is being directed by Takuma Aomatsu (Puppet Sunsun) at stop-motion animation studio dwarf studios. Takatoshi Hamano, who has worked on the IDOLiSH7 TV series, IDOLiSH7 First BEAT!, and IDOLiSH7 the Movie LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD, serves as sound director. Yayoi Sekimukai, known for Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun seasons 3 and 4 and I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class, is composing the music.

Ahead of the anime’s debut, a “Mofmof Park” fan event was held on May 22–24 at Makuhari Event Hall inside Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
IDOLiSH7 Franchise History
The IDOLiSH7 franchise originated as a smartphone game. Its first TV anime adaptation premiered in January 2018 with 17 episodes, followed by the IDOLiSH7 Vibrato net anime spinoff in February 2018. A second season aired from April 2020, though it faced delays due to COVID-19. The third season, IDOLiSH7 Third Beat!, ran across two split cours beginning in July 2021 and concluding in February 2023 with a total of 30 episodes.
The theatrical anime concert film IDOLiSH7 the Movie LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD opened in Japan in May 2023, earning over 700 million yen (approximately US$5.02 million) and selling 440,000 tickets in its first 22 days. The compilation film IDOLiSH7 First BEAT! opened its first part in October 2025, with the second part following on December 5. All titles are available to stream on Crunchyroll.
