Takara Tomy has announced a collaboration between the TV anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries) and its iconic dress-up doll line Licca-chan, resulting in the “Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Maomao Licca-chan” — a Licca-chan doll fully dressed up as the series’ sharp-eyed apothecary heroine, Maomao.
Faithful to Every Detail
The doll meticulously reproduces Maomao’s most recognizable features, including her facial freckles and the bandage on her left arm. Her signature hairstyle and costume have also been recreated with close attention to detail to match her appearance in the anime.
Price, Release Date, and Availability
The Maomao Licca-chan doll is priced at ¥5,500 (tax included) and is scheduled to go on sale on October 24. It will be available through the following channels:
- Toy specialty stores nationwide
- Department stores and mass retailers (toy sections)
- Online shops
- Takara Tomy’s official shopping site, Takara Tomy Mall
Pre-orders on Takara Tomy Mall open from August 27. In addition to Japan, the doll is also planned for release in Asia and North America.
