บรรยากาศ在นิทรรศการ MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary ที่ YURAKUCHO MUSEUM กรุงโตเกียว

The MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary exhibition officially opened on September 16, 2026 at YURAKUCHO MUSEUM in Tokyo, with a press preview held the day before on September 15. The event celebrates 15 years since MAPPA’s founding in 2011 and brings together 23 titles from the studio’s catalogue, featuring original animation cels, production materials, and immersive themed zones.

The “Various Stories” Zone

A dedicated area titled “Various Stories” (さまざまな物語) gathers works that helped define MAPPA’s identity, including In This Corner of the World — cited as one of the inspirations behind the studio’s establishment — alongside Terror in Resonance, Yuri!!! on ICE, Zombie Land Saga, and Dorohedoro. Alongside original key animation and setting documents, the zone features unique character-specific items: a letter from Eiji to Ash from BANANA FISH, and Itsuki Sumeragi’s raw-nail collection from Kakegurui. Displays are balanced across character design, background art, and props.

Attack on Titan Zone — The Rumbling in 3D

The Attack on Titan The Final Season zone is anchored by a three-dimensional sculptural recreation of the Rumbling (地鳴らし), the cataclysmic event set in motion by Eren. Production materials accompany the installation, allowing visitors to relive the emotional weight and terror of the series. A dedicated corner titled “How That Hill Landscape Was Made” traces the background art creation process through paints, brushes, original sketches, and hand-painted watercolours.

Jujutsu Kaisen Zone — Life-Size Itadori and Gojo’s Room

The Jujutsu Kaisen zone revisits pivotal battles — Gojo Satoru vs. Jogo and Nanami Kento vs. Mahito — through detailed production documents. Visitors can also see a life-size figure of Itadori Yuji in the “Itadori Yuji, Spinning Memories” corner, as well as a recreation of Gojo’s room.

Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc Zone — The Phone Box and a Quiet Farewell

Stepping into the Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc zone, visitors enter a deliberately quiet space centred on a recreation of the phone box where Denji first met Reze. Storyboards, character sheets, and the film’s script trace Reze’s arc from beginning to end, while a life-size figure of Bomb Girl provides a striking visual centrepiece. The zone guides visitors through to the conclusion of Denji and Reze’s story.

Free Voice Guides by the Cast

A free audio guide is available throughout the venue. Tsuda Kenjiro narrates the exhibition as a whole, while individual zones are guided by cast members from each series:

  • Attack on Titan The Final Season zone — Ishikawa Yui (Mikasa Ackerman)
  • Jujutsu Kaisen zone — Seto Asami (Nobara Kugisaki)
  • Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc zone — Ueda Reina (Reze)

All audio was recorded exclusively for the exhibition.
