An official collaboration visual for the Detective Conan (名探偵コナン) TV anime — based on the manga by Aoyama Gosho — and J.League has been released, featuring Edogawa Conan striking a cool pose with one foot resting on a soccer ball.
The collab kicked off on July 18 at 6:00 p.m. with the broadcast of a special crossover episode titled “J.League: Kaimaku no Whistle (J.League 開幕の警笛)”. The episode featured two notable guest voice performers: Kageyama Yuka, an actress and avid football fan, and Morishima Hiroaki, a former Japan national team player who currently serves as Representative Director and Chairman of Cerezo Osaka.
In addition, a “Conan DAY” event has been officially announced for September 6 at YANMAR HANASAKA STADIUM in Osaka, coinciding with the Meiji Yasuda J1 League match between Cerezo Osaka and Tokyo Verdy.
The event will feature Conan-themed activities both inside and outside the stadium. Further details and updates are scheduled to be announced at a later date.
