The TV anime Meitantei Precure! (名探偵プリキュア！/ Detective Precure!) has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 25, “The Identity of Cure Éclair,” set to air on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. on ABC TV and the TV Asahi network across 24 stations nationwide.
About Meitantei Precure!
The 23rd entry in the PreCure franchise, Meitantei Precure! centers on the motif of “detective work” and carries the theme: “See for yourself, feel for yourself, think for yourself — and find the real answer.”
The story follows Akechi Anna, a 14-year-old second-year middle school student living in Makoto Mirai Town. On her birthday, a fairy named Pochitan and a pendant in her room lead her to time-slip from 2027 back to the city of Makoto Mirai in 1999. There she meets Kobayashi Mikuru, another 14-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a great detective. When a phantom thief gang called Phantom begins stealing precious things from people, Anna and Mikuru transform into the Detective Precure to protect everyone’s smiles through the power of deduction — all while Anna wonders whether she will ever make it back to her own era.
Episode 25 Synopsis: “The Identity of Cure Éclair”
July 19 — the day of destiny. The perfume that upperclassman Jet has been crafting is finally complete. Anna and Mikuru theorize that its lily fragrance might help locate a “great detective” who lost all memory of the Curat Detective Agency. Then, out of nowhere, a calling card from the Phantom gang arrives.
The card reads: “We shall claim the world at the true land of 真 (Makoto).” Recalling a map found on the second floor of the agency, the girls deduce that the “true land of Makoto” refers to Landmark Makoto Tower. They rush to the scene, only to find that Usonoir has already unleashed its power, blanketing the area in an aura of lies.
Anna and her friends transform into Precure to confront Usonoir — and at last, the long-awaited secret will be out. Among Hoba Kurea, Kurusu Eliza, Kaneda Rei, and Ieiri Shiruku, who is truly Cure Éclair?
