Publisher Shogakukan released two major volumes from manga artist Shinotsuka Hiromu simultaneously on September 25: Milmo de Pon! Nyu~ Vol. 1, a brand-new continuation series, and Milmo de Pon! Aizouban Vol. 1, the first volume of a new collector’s edition reprint.
Milmo de Pon! Nyu~ — A New Chapter in the Fairy World
Milmo de Pon! Nyu~ picks up after the events of the original series. Having completed his training in the human world, Milmo — the love fairy — has returned to the Fairy World, where he keeps busy with his duties as a king-in-training. His fulfilling new life is shattered, however, when a mysterious black cloud descends on the Fairy World and attacks its inhabitants. In the ensuing chaos, Milmo’s wife Lilmu is kidnapped. Determined to get her back, Milmo sets off alongside his rival Yashichi and his younger brother Murumo.
Aizouban Collector’s Edition
The Aizouban collector’s edition is planned for a complete run of five volumes. Each volume features a newly drawn cover illustration by Shinotsuka, along with stickers depicting memorable scenes from the manga and color illustrations from the original serialization run.
Special Campaign on Ciao Plus
To celebrate the dual release, Ciao Plus is running a special feature on Shinotsuka Hiromu through October 8. Members can read select chapters from her works for free, including Chibi☆Debi!, Puripuri Chiichan!!, Koisuru Pudding!, and Kemocchi Biyori!
