Precure fans have a new reason to visit their nearest conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu — the first theatrical film in the Meitantei Precure! series — has announced a collaboration with popular sushi chain Kappa Sushi. About Meitantei Precure!
Meitantei Precure! is the 23rd entry in the long-running Precure franchise. The series follows protagonist Akecchi Anna, who slips back in time to 1999 and takes on mysterious cases as a detective at the Kyutt Detective Office. The franchise’s first theatrical film is set to open nationwide in Japan on September 18, 2026.
What to Expect from the Collaboration
The centerpiece of the tie-up is a set of newly drawn, exclusive illustrations featuring all four main characters from the film — artwork created specifically for this campaign and available only at Kappa Sushi locations.
There is also a special in-store bonus for moviegoers: fans who receive the Pochitan Miracle Light theater gift when attending the film can present it at Kappa Sushi. For every ¥3,500 (tax included) spent per transaction while showing the light, customers will receive one “Precure Mirror Loupe ★ Clear Card”.
