The summer 2026 anime Mushoku Tensei III: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu (無職転生III ～異世界行ったら本気だす～) has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 3, “Return to Everyday Life” (帰ってきた日常), set to air on Sunday, July 12, 2026 on TOKYO MX and other channels.
About the Series
Mushoku Tensei is a landmark isekai light novel series by Rifujin na Magonote, published under MF Books / KADOKAWA, with a cumulative print run exceeding 18 million copies. The story follows a 34-year-old shut-in who dies in a traffic accident and is reincarnated as a baby named Rudeus Greyrat in a world of swords and magic. Armed with memories and regrets from his past life, he vows to live earnestly this time around.
Following Season 1 (January 2021) and Season 2 (July 2023), Rudeus has overcome countless hardships and begun building a new family. Season 3, directed by Ryosuke Shibuya and produced by Studio Bind, delves deeper into his life as a young adult.
Episode 3 Synopsis — “Return to Everyday Life”
Having welcomed Roxy Migurdia Greyrat as his second wife, Rudeus is now living peacefully alongside his first wife Sylphiette, their daughter Lucy, and his sisters Norn and Aisha. He has also returned to studying at Ranoa Magic University.
Roxy takes up a teaching position at the same university, and as Rudeus introduces her to everyone as his wife, his friend Cliff Grimoire finds himself unable to accept the arrangement on religious grounds — casting a small shadow over what had seemed like a tranquil new chapter.
