A brand-new merchandise collection for the TV anime Natsume’s Book of Friends (夏目友人帳) has launched on the mail-order site AMNIBUS, with pre-orders open from Saturday, 12 September 2026. The collection centres on exclusive newly drawn illustrations of the series’ cast in their exorcist (祓い屋) outfits.
About the Series
Natsume’s Book of Friends is a manga by Yuki Midorikawa, serialised in Monthly LaLa. It follows Natsume Takashi, a lonely boy who can see yokai, as he inherits his late grandmother Reiko’s “Book of Friends” — a ledger of contracts she made with spirits — and finds himself pursued by yokai seeking to reclaim their names. He navigates this chaotic life alongside the self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei. The seventh anime season, Natsume’s Book of Friends: Shichi (夏目友人帳 漆), began airing on 7 October 2024.

The collection showcases newly drawn exorcist-version artwork of six characters: Natsume Takashi, Nyanko-sensei, Natori Shuichi, Hiiragi, Matoba Seiji, and Yorishima. Natori and Matoba in particular cut an especially striking figure in their exorcist attire.
