Aniplex USA released the English-subtitled main trailer for the upcoming television anime adaptation of Muchimaro‘s four-panel manga Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! (Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!) on Tuesday, and confirmed the series will stream on OceanVeil every Saturday, kicking off on October 3.
Story
Mizunoe Ume joins his school’s student council hoping it will be a quick fix for his failing grades — only to discover that every single one of his fellow council members is spectacularly eccentric. One is an airhead, another is intimidating, and one harbors a secret perverted streak, yet somehow they’re all oddly endearing. Mizunoe finds himself swept up in the chaos they create in this charming, quirky, and slightly naughty slice-of-life comedy. The manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since 2022 and won the print category of the 9th Next Manga Awards in 2023.
