Voice actress Hanazawa Kana, who plays the lead role of Kozame-chan in the anime series Odekake Kozame (おでかけ子ザメ), made a special appearance at the press event for the upcoming exhibition “Odekake Kozame Ten”. The exhibition will feature photo spots, interactive displays, exclusive merchandise, and a collaboration café.
Hanazawa Kana’s Comments
Taking the stage at the event, Hanazawa spoke enthusiastically about what visitors can look forward to:
“This is an exhibition that people of all ages can enjoy to the fullest. There are so many photo spots — you could bring a digital camera, or bring your plushies along to make it even more fun. I’d recommend coming fully prepared to make the most of it.”
She also highlighted a special audio feature created specifically for the exhibition:
“We recorded quite a lot of brand-new voice lines just for this event. You’ll hear them popping up from all over the venue, so I really hope everyone enjoys the audio side of things too.”
Exhibition Highlights
The main area of the exhibition, titled “Kozame-chan’s Outing! Exciting Town Tour”, lets visitors relive the various colourful towns that Kozame-chan has visited throughout the series, with episode displays, video presentations, and character introductions.
- Entrance area: A standing figure of Kozame-chan greets visitors as they arrive.
- Giant fluffy panel: An oversized, touchable panel featuring Usame-chan.
- Plushie photo corner (ぬい撮りコーナー): A dedicated spot for photographing your favourite plushies.
- Behind-the-scenes exhibit: Rare materials and drawing footage from creator Penguinbox, revealing how the world of Odekake Kozame came to life.
Merchandise and Collaboration Café
The merchandise corner will carry exhibition-exclusive items including a soft plushie (むにゅぐるみ), a Kozame-chan Pancake Mix Pouch, and an Odekake Tote Bag, among others.
A collaboration café will also run at MG Café on the 8th floor of Matsuya Ginza throughout the Tokyo exhibition period, serving original menu items inspired by the series.
