Created by Eiichiro Oda, ONE PIECE launched in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 34 on July 22, 1997, and surpassed its 25th anniversary in 2022. As of March 4, 2026, the manga’s worldwide cumulative print run has exceeded 600 million copies — over 450 million in Japan and more than 150 million overseas.
The TV anime has aired on Fuji TV since 1999 and celebrated its own 25th anniversary in 2024. The current Elbaf Arc began broadcasting in April 2026, while the Netflix live-action adaptation launched its Season 2 in March 2026.
