Fans of ONE PIECE have a new reason to celebrate: Bandai’s no-miss character lottery Ichiban Kuji ONE PIECE: Animal Gathering! (一番くじ ワンピース ～あにまる大集合！～) is on its way, bringing together beloved animal characters from the series — including Chopper, Lapahn, and Kung-Fu Dugong — across a full lineup of prizes.
About ONE PIECE
Created by Eiichiro Oda and serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997, ONE PIECE has surpassed 500 million copies in worldwide circulation. The story follows Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates as they chase the legendary treasure “One Piece” left behind by the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.
The TV anime launched in 1999 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in October 2024. Following the conclusion of the Egghead Arc at the end of December 2025, the Elbaf Arc — introducing the “God’s Knights” including Shamrock Saint and Gunshiku — began airing in April 2026. Looking further ahead, the film ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY is set for a Japanese release in summer 2027, with ONE PIECE FILM BAAD to follow in 2029.
