ทีเซอร์วิชวลซีรีส์ทีวี Otto ni Furin wo Onegai Saremashita

A TV drama adaptation of Otto ni Furin wo Onegai Saremashita (My Husband Asked Me to Have an Affair), the manga by Nakaiie Yoshitaka, has been officially announced. A teaser visual has also been released. The series will star Nakamura Yurika and Sano Reo (of GENERATIONS) in the lead roles.

Story

The series centers on Hanae, a wife shouldering solo childcare with little respite, and her overworked husband Hiroki. The couple has been in a sexless marriage for five years. When Hanae finally musters the courage to approach Hiroki, she is rejected — and he then makes a startling proposal: that she seek physical fulfillment with someone else, with his full blessing. In an effort to preserve their family life, Hanae sets out to find a partner through her ex-boyfriend, a matching app, and a female-oriented service. The drama is described as a human-interest story that asks what it truly means to be a couple and a family. Nakamura plays Nagano Hanae, while Sano plays Nagano Hiroki.

Comments

Nakaiie Yoshitaka (Original Author)

“This work was born from my own real experience of being given this proposal by my husband. I cried when it happened, but I thought it would be a waste to just cry about it, so I turned it into a manga. And now it’s becoming a drama — I’m incredibly happy. Thank you so much to my readers, my editors, and everyone involved in the production.”

Nakamura Yurika (as Nagano Hanae)

“My character is proposed an ‘approved affair’ by her husband to keep the peace at home, but I feel that deep down, what she really wants is simply to be loved more by him. This story makes you think about what ‘happiness’ means as a woman and as a family. It’s not a dark infidelity drama — it’s a bright, forward-looking story about facing your problems head-on. I hope you’ll give it a chance.”

Sano Reo (as Nagano Hiroki)

“I’ll be playing Hiroki, the husband of the character Nakamura Yurika portrays. I hope to express the emotional turbulence within this complex relationship in my own way, and together with the cast and crew, deliver something truly worthwhile to our audience. Please look forward to it.”
