The second teaser for the TV anime 「令和のダラさん」 (Reiwa no Dara-san) has been officially released. The video reveals new character information, additional cast members and the series ending theme.

New cast members

The newly added cast includes Aoi Koga as Hatsusegawa Shuu, Tomokazu Sugita as Fudeki Naomichi, Mai Aizawa as Isoko Miwa, Saori Hayami as Ane Miko and Houchu Otsuka as Orochi.

Ending theme

The ending theme for the series is 「ひなたぼっこ」 (Hinatabokko), performed by REIRIE.

Aoi Koga as Hatsusegawa Shuu

When I first read the original work, I was struck by the structure that moves back and forth between the past and the present. I kept reading because I wanted to know what Dara-san’s relationships with the people around her would become. I am very happy to play Shuu, a character with depth who feels more mature than her age. I will do my best so everyone can enjoy her appearances.

Tomokazu Sugita as Fudeki Naomichi

One day, while browsing social media, Dara-san caught my eye, almost as if our eyes met. I kept looking, and before I knew it, I was smiling. I am very happy to be involved in this anime as one of its fans.

Mai Aizawa as Isoko Miwa

When I read the original work, I immediately felt that Miwa was very similar to me. When I received the role, I felt happy, excited and surprised all at once. Miwa is not very good at keeping the right distance from other people, and there were many moments where I thought, “I understand that.” I hope viewers will also pay attention to the small details in the anime.

Saori Hayami as Ane Miko

The first time I encountered this work, I was drawn in by its fun and warm atmosphere. But the story also has clear light and dark sides. As Ane Miko, I will be responsible for the darker and more unsettling parts, so I focused on switching emotions during the recording. I hope everyone enjoys every side of the story.

Houchu Otsuka as Orochi

I was born in a village deep in the mountains of Okayama Prefecture and grew up with yokai legends told by my grandmother. Now it is my turn to become Orochi. I am very excited and happy. I want my Orochi to be frightening, but also somehow cute and endearing.

REIRIE, ending theme artist

About the story

“Reiwa no Dara-san” is based on the manga by Haruomi Tomotsuka. It follows a cursed deity living deep in the mountains and the children of a family that protects the forest, presented as an occult comedy. The TV anime begins airing on July 2, 2026 on TOKYO MX and other channels. AT-X will air the “令和の時代に大丈夫なの!?Ver.” version, which will also be included on Blu-ray and DVD. A limited edition of Blu-ray Volume 1 with a newly drawn cushion by the original author is also planned.
