Streaming platform RetroCrush announced on August 1 that it will add two new titles on August 21: the live-action Dororo film with Japanese audio, and the English-dubbed The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor OVA, adapted from Yoshiki Takaya‘s Bio-Booster Armor Guyver manga. Both titles are now available to stream.
The platform is also rolling out additional titles throughout August:

About The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor
Takaya’s Bio-Booster Armor Guyver manga has spawned an OVA series (1989–1992), a television anime (2005–2006), and two live-action films. In North America, Viz Media published part of the manga in English from 1995 to 1998, Manga Entertainment released the OVAs, and ADV Films — later FUNimation Entertainment — handled the television anime.
About Dororo
Osamu Tezuka‘s original Dororo manga, first published in 1967, was released in English by Vertical across three volumes and later as a collected omnibus in 2012. The supernatural historical story was first adapted into a 26-episode black-and-white anime by Tezuka Productions in 1969, and received a new television anime adaptation in January 2019, licensed by Sentai Filmworks.
A manga remake titled The Legend of Dororo and Hyakkimaru (Dororo to Hyakkimaru-den) by Satoshi Shiki launched in Akita Shoten’s Monthly Champion RED magazine in October 2018 and concluded with its 13th volume on December 19. Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the English edition.
In 2022, Japanese distributor Media Do, Tezuka Production, and South Korean comics company Copin Communications jointly launched Dororo Re:Verse, a Japanese-South Korean vertical-scrolling webcomic reimagining of Tezuka’s classic.
