The production team behind the TV anime SAKAMOTO DAYS, based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, has released a new character PV and a Teaser Visual “Other Version” for the upcoming second season.
Character PV Highlights Three New Faces
The character PV puts the spotlight on three characters making their debut in Season 2:
- Zhou, voiced by Kikunosuke Toya — a JCC student who harbors intense hostility toward the Assassins’ Order (Satsuren). He declares, “The era of the Satsuren is over. That rotten bunch — they should all just die.”
- Satoda Etsuko, voiced by Misa Watanabe — the longest-serving teacher at JCC, who scolds, “You’re all failing. You mustn’t do something so dangerous~.”
- Yotsumura, voiced by Masahide Fuji — a former No. 2 of the Satsuren who was involved in founding ORDER. He murmurs, “We must carry a killing intent that is tasteless, odorless, and transparent,” and is shown in a fierce battle against Kagurami and Nagumo.
The PV is packed with action sequences featuring all three new characters, building anticipation ahead of the new season.
Teaser Visual “Other Version”
Alongside the PV, the team unveiled a Teaser Visual “Other Version” depicting Sakamoto and Shin standing back-to-back. Sharing the same composition as the main Season 2 teaser visual, this version captures an even more tense and gripping atmosphere between the two characters.
About SAKAMOTO DAYS
SAKAMOTO DAYS follows Taro Sakamoto, a legendary former hitman who fights alongside his allies against a wave of assassins targeting him — all to protect the everyday life he shares with his beloved family.
Season 1 aired its first cour in January 2025 and its second cour in July 2025. Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.
