Shonen Jump+ has officially announced via its X/Twitter account that it is cutting ties with prominent manga editor Shihei Lin and his company, Mix Green.
On the same day as the announcement, Lin took to X/Twitter to clarify that Mix Green has entered into direct contracts with four manga artists and will therefore continue serving as editor for those series. The four titles are:
- SPY×FAMILY by Tatsuya Endō
- Dandadan by Yukinobu Tatsu
- Centuria by Tohru Kuramori
- WITCHRIV by Hakuri
Lin also launched Mix Green’s new manga platform on April 17, which began accepting manga submissions from artists at that time.
Lin originally joined Shueisha as an editor in 2006 and remained with the publisher until his departure in August 2022. Following his exit, he continued working with the artists he had previously edited, taking on the role of freelance editor.
During his tenure at Shueisha, Lin served as editor on several high-profile titles, including Chainsaw Man, SPY×FAMILY, Dandadan, and numerous others.
