The TV anime Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori has revealed two new cast members joining from its second cour: Saito Soma will voice Userl Ramses, and Horie Shun will voice Juda Haspasrupi.
New Characters in Season 2
Ramses is a free-spirited and formidable Egyptian general who becomes Kail’s greatest rival over the course of the story. Juda, meanwhile, is the sixth prince of the Hittite Empire — a gentle-hearted young man who has admired Kail since childhood but harbors doubts about the actions of his mother, Nakia.

Blu-ray BOX Release
A Blu-ray BOX release has also been confirmed, split into two volumes:
- Volume 1 (Upper): December 9, 2026
- Volume 2 (Lower): April 14, 2027
The digipak packaging features newly drawn artwork by character designer Fujisaki Kenji. Each box includes a booklet, and early purchasers will receive a special bonus set of five “memorable scene” replica postcard prints.
About the Anime
Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori is based on the manga by Shinohara Chie. The story follows Yuri, a modern Japanese girl who is suddenly summoned to the Hittite Empire of the 14th century BC. Swept up in political intrigue and her own blossoming feelings, she fights to carve out her own destiny. Tachibana Mira voices the lead role of Yuri.
The anime airs in the Summer 2026 season. The main cast also includes Kato Wataru, Uchida Aya, Chiba Shoya, Maeno Tomoaki, Yusa Koji, Ono Tomotaka, Aoki Shiki, Kawaida Natsumi, Matsuoka Misato, Ishitani Haruki, Enoki Junya, Kamio Shinichiro, Toriumi Kosuke, and Nanami Hiroki.
