Merchandise maker AKROS has unveiled a new “Sleeping Pose Series (寝相シリーズ)” for the TV anime Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End), featuring the beloved elf mage snuggled under a blanket. Three items are now open for pre-order through Village Vanguard Online.
About Sousou no Frieren
Based on the manga by writer Yamada Kanehito and artist Abe Tsukasa, the TV anime launched in September 2023. Set in a world after the Demon King’s defeat, it follows the millennium-old mage Frieren as she embarks on a journey to truly understand humanity — a quest sparked by the death of the hero Himmel, her former companion. The series won fans over with its blend of warm, comedic character moments and intense magical battles. The third TV anime season, subtitled “Golden Land Arc (黄金郷編)”, is scheduled to begin airing in October 2027.
The Three Items
Sleeping Pose Blanket — Oyasumi Frieren
A long-pile microfibre blanket that is soft and warm to the touch. Measuring approximately 100 × 70 cm, it works equally well as a lap blanket at the office, a picnic throw, or a cosy companion at home.
Sleeping Pose Cushion — Oyasumi Frieren
Made from a plush Soft Boa material with a satisfying, squishy feel. At roughly 45 × 32 cm, it is easy to hug and doubles as a nap pillow. The reverse side features the English title FRIEREN Beyond Journey’s End as a clean typographic design.
Sleeping Pose Desk Mat — Oyasumi Frieren
A slightly larger item at approximately W59.5 × H35 cm. It can serve as a desk mat, a shelf liner, or a decorative piece. The rubber-backed underside prevents slipping, while the polyester surface is mouse-compatible, making it a practical PC mat.
