The staff behind the television anime Tempal: Item no Chikara (Tempal ~The Power of Items~), adapted from South Korean webtoon studio REDICE STUDIO’s Overgeared webtoon, revealed a wave of new information on Wednesday: a second promotional video, a new key visual, additional cast members, theme song artists, and an official premiere date of October 2.
Theme Songs
The new promo video previews the opening theme “SATISFY” performed by rock band Re:name. Virtual singer TAO performs the ending theme “Ray of Emotion.”

Synopsis
Youngwoo Shin is a deadbeat in real life, scraping by on odd jobs to pay off his loans while his family writes him off as a hopeless gaming addict. In the massively popular VR game Satisfy, he becomes Grid the Warrior — who is equally mediocre. Everything changes when he discovers a tome holding the lost secrets of a legendary blacksmith, at the cost of resetting all his levels. Forced back to square one, Grid must sharpen his skills and build alliances — or simply rely on god-tier items to carry him through.

Source Material
The Overgeared webtoon is based on a web novel by Park Saenal, with Dong-Wook Lee writing the webtoon adaptation and Team Argo handling the artwork. Yen Press released Volume 10 on May 19, and the webtoon is also available digitally on Tapas.
