The TV anime Tenmaku no Jādūgal, based on the manga by Tomato Soup, has unveiled a full-view version of its main visual alongside a pre-air promotional video ahead of its July premiere.
Story and Pre-Air PV
The series follows Chitara, a woman who has had everything taken from her by Tolui, the fourth prince of the Mongol Empire. Forced to live as a prisoner of war, she schemes to ingratiate herself with the imperial family and bring the empire crashing down from within. The newly released pre-air PV showcases Chitara’s fierce resolve as she stands against the Mongol Empire.
Ending Theme: “Hoshi” by Queen Bee
It has been officially confirmed that the ending theme will be “Hoshi” (星 / Star), a new song by Queen Bee (女王蜂). Both Tomato Soup and Queen Bee vocalist Avu-chan shared comments on the collaboration.
Tomato Soup: “It feels as though we are listening to their story told beneath a tent on a starlit night. This song speaks to us — ‘Don’t forget’ — and it is both sorrowful and full of strength. Thank you for this wonderful piece of music.”
Avu-chan (Queen Bee): “Vengeance. The feelings carried by a protagonist who stands alone through a turbulent era — I felt something like the stars in that immensity. I hope it seeps into you as you enjoy it!”
Broadcast Information
The anime premieres on Saturday, July 4, 2026, on TV Asahi’s nationwide network and BS Asahi, airing every Saturday at 23:30. The first episode will be broadcast as a special one-hour double-episode starting at 23:00. Streaming on various digital platforms also begins on the same date.
