Theme Song and Background
Hitomi Suzune performs the opening theme song “Choux Cream”.
The anime is based on the adult dōjin manga by Puuzaki Puuna, who has claimed this marks the first time an adult dōjin manga has been adapted directly into a TV anime without a separate commercial release — previous adaptations of this type having all been OVAs. Puuzaki Puuna has also noted that the TV anime will feature an original story distinct from the source manga.
The story follows a landlord who discovers a ring capable of controlling supernatural creatures such as yōkai, which he uses on a snow woman living in one of his apartments. The manga spans two full-color volumes, both of which have been released in English by Irodori Comics.
