The stage play adaptation of Itaru Bonnoki‘s manga The Vampire Dies in No Time is set for a revival run at Theater H in Tokyo, running from November 20 to 29.
Creative Team
Daiki Murakami, who wrote the script, directed, and penned the lyrics for the original 2023 production, returns in all three roles. Shū Kanematsu is once again composing the music.

Ikkei Yamamoto reprises his role as the vampire Draluc, while Hiroki Suzuki returns as vampire-hunter Ronald. The full cast also includes:

Background
The original stage play ran at The Galaxy Theatre in Tokyo in June 2023. Bonnoki launched The Vampire Dies in No Time in Weekly Shōnen Champion in June 2015, and Akita Publishing released the 26th compiled volume on February 6.
The manga has gone on hiatus multiple times in recent years, largely due to Bonnoki’s health. In October 2023, he revealed he had been diagnosed with ossification of the ligamentum flavum (OLF) — a condition in which the spinal ligament thickens and can narrow the spinal canal, potentially causing nerve damage. Bonnoki noted he had suffered from persistent back pain for several months and that surgery would be particularly challenging given the location of the affected area.
Anime Adaptation
The anime adaptation’s first season premiered in Japan in October 2021 with 12 episodes, streamed by Funimation as it aired. A second season followed in January 2023. Both seasons are currently available on Crunchyroll.
