Fans of the anime Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (My Happy Marriage) have a real-world reason to visit Japan’s shrines this autumn. A special collaborative project titled Watashi no Shiawase na Musubi no Inori has been announced, bringing limited-edition shrine goods inspired by the bond between protagonists Miyo and Kiyoka to four sacred sites across the country.
A Collaboration Between Two Specialist Brands
The project is a joint effort between Fuuuu, a brand known for anime and manga shrine collaborations, and Jinja Bukkaku Online, an organization dedicated to making shrines and temples more accessible to the public. It will run from October 16 to November 30, 2026.
Participating Shrines
- Kamimeguro Hikawa Jinja — Meguro, Tokyo
- Nanasha Jinja — Kita, Tokyo
- Abe Oji Jinja — Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture
- Nashinoki Jinja — Kamigyo, Kyoto City
Limited Exclusive Items
The concept behind the collaboration is the “precious bond” that Miyo and Kiyoka have nurtured throughout the series. Available items include:
- Goshuin (shrine stamp) — Subtly featuring Miyo and Kiyoka, priced at ¥1,200
- Goshuincho (stamp book) — Designed to reflect the world of the series and depict the two characters’ intertwining fates, priced at ¥3,300
- Omamori (amulet) — Available in two versions, one for Miyo and one for Kiyoka, each priced at ¥1,300. Collecting both creates a paired “couples’ amulet” (meoto mamori)
- Omamori Set — A special boxed set containing both amulets, formally blessed with prayers for good relationships and love, priced at ¥3,000 per set
Purchasers will also receive a special bookmark designed with motifs drawn from Miyo’s hair ornament and Kiyoka’s braided cord.
In-Person Only, Cash Only
All items will be available exclusively at each shrine in person, with cash payment only. There will be no online sales, so fans wishing to obtain these items will need to visit the shrines directly.
Special Anime Arc on the Way
The anime series first aired its first season in July 2023, followed by a second season in January 2025, both of which drew an enthusiastic response. A special anime arc has been announced to begin broadcasting in October 2026, coinciding perfectly with the shrine collaboration period.
The Watashi no Shiawase na Musubi no Inori project offers fans a rare chance to feel the connection between Miyo and Kiyoka in the real world — an experience not to be missed.
