Bandai has officially announced the GUNDAM UNIVERSE XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero (EW) Renewal, a revamped release of the iconic mobile suit piloted by Heero Yuy in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. The figure is scheduled for release in October 2026 at a suggested retail price of ¥4,400 (tax included), with the pre-order window opening on June 1, 2026. It will be available through general retail channels.
About Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing first aired on April 7, 1995, as the second entry in the “Alternative Series” — Gundam stories set in universes separate from the Universal Century. The series opened with a dramatic simultaneous assault by five Gundam units and maintained a relentless pace through to its finale. Notably, it was the first Gundam series to air in the United States, earning a devoted fanbase both domestically and internationally.
Endless Waltz followed as an OVA sequel, with a special theatrical edition featuring additional footage. It introduced the distinctive EW design of Wing Gundam Zero that fans know and love today.
What’s New in the Renewal Version
The renewed figure adopts the UNIVERSAL REACTION FRAME system, which significantly improves range of motion and playability. A key highlight is the ability to recreate the Twin Buster Rifle firing pose — specifically the combined dual-rifle mode used in the famous scene where Heero destroys the shelter shield at the Brussels Presidential Residence.
The Twin Buster Rifle can also be separated into two individual rifles, allowing fans to recreate the Rolling Buster Rifle configuration familiar from various video games.
