The TV anime Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta! (A Wild Last Boss Appeared!) Season 2 has revealed its official key visual, showcasing an intense clash between Rufus Mafahl and Benetnasch, alongside the expanded roster of the Hado Juniseiten ready for battle.
Special Pre-Broadcast Program
Ahead of the Season 2 premiere on October 3, 2026 on TOKYO MX and other channels, a special program titled Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta! Fukushuu no Toki ~Hoshiboshi ga Katarau Senenkei~ will stream on ABEMA on September 26 at 8:00 PM JST.
The special will feature voice cast members Ami Koshimizu (Rufus Mafahl), Satomi Akesaka (Benetnasch), Shina Shudo (Aries), and Tomoaki Takahashi (Scorpius), who will discuss standout scenes from Season 1, take part in a quiz inspired by Rufus’s hazy memories from his 200-year seal, and preview highlights to look forward to in Season 2. Following the special at 10:30 PM JST, the first episode of Season 2 will be made available as an early terrestrial broadcast stream.

In addition to previously announced channels, broadcasts on Nagasaki Bunka Hoso and Hokkaido Television have been confirmed. The series will also be available to stream on ABEMA and U-NEXT.

Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta! is a fantasy series following a protagonist whose consciousness becomes trapped inside the character he created in an online game — the fearsome “Black-Winged Overlord” Rufus Mafahl.
