TV anime Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta! (Wild Last Boss Appeared!) has confirmed its Season 2 premiere for October, airing on TOKYO MX, BS Asahi, and Kansai TV, with streaming on ABEMA and U-NEXT one week ahead of broadcast. The announcement came alongside the reveal of seven additional cast members, the opening theme, and the first promotional video.

Story

Based on the novel by Homura Gama (published under Earth Star Novel / Earth Star Entertainment) with original illustrations by YahaKo, the series follows a protagonist whose consciousness is transferred into his own online-game character. Season 2 sees powerful new enemies stand in the way of Rufus Mafahl and his allies as the story drives toward its core conflict.

• Karkinos — a Cancer-titled monster of the Hado Junisei-ten under Rufus, voiced by Suzuki Ryota
• Scorpius — a Scorpio-titled demon, voiced by Takahashi Chiaki
• Castor — one half of the Gemini-titled warriors who wields a giant anchor, voiced by Sakurai Takahiro
• Mizar — a dwarf alchemist of the Seven Heroes known as the “Forge King,” voiced by Tsuji Shinhachi
• Mass-produced Libra — maid-type golems mass-produced by Mizar based on Libra, voiced by Seto Momoko
• Terra — a young demon-clan man and son of Demon King Orm, voiced by Umehara Yuichiro
• Luna — one of seven general-class demons serving the Demon King, voiced by M·A·O

Opening Theme & PV

The opening theme for Season 2 is “Melodic Impact” performed by four-piece rock band Suspended 4th. The first PV showcases encounters with new enemies, high-energy battle sequences, and visuals of the new characters, all set to the song’s driving rhythm. Vocalist/guitarist Washiyama Kazuki commented that the theme of “brute strength” and “power is everything” fit the band’s style perfectly, leading them to write the track at lightning speed — recording nearly every track in a single take to capture raw energy.

Suzuki Ryota (Karkinos): “Karkinos has a very distinctive way of speaking, and I was asked to improvise a lot during recording. I gave it everything I had — in more ways than one. Please look forward to Season 2!”
