The production team behind Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers (鎧真伝サムライトルーパー) has released the synopsis and advance preview images for Episode 14, “Kiseki,” the opening episode of the second cour. It is scheduled to air on Tuesday, 14 July 2026.

About the Series

Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers is the official sequel to the original Yoroi-den Samurai Troopers, telling a completely original story set in present-day Shinjuku. The series is directed by Fujita Yoichi — known for Gintama and Osomatsu-san — and produced by SUNRISE Studios, the animation studio under Bandai Namco Filmworks.

The five lead voice actors are Ishibashi Hiiro (Gai), Enoki Junya (Uesugi Kaito), Murase Ayumu (Hojo Musashi), Takeuchi Shunsuke (Hojo Yamato), and Kumagai Kentaro (Ishida Shion).

First Cour Recap

The first cour launched on 6 January 2026 and immediately trended on X (formerly Twitter), with keywords like “サムライトルーパー” and “ナスティ” dominating the platform after the premiere. The cour concluded on 24 March with Episode 12, which thrilled fans with the appearance of the original Samurai Troopers.

Second Cour Story

The second cour picks up three months after the Samurai Troopers defeated Yoja Emperor Rashinka and saved Tokyo from the Yoja-kai invasion. While humanity enjoys a hard-won peace, a new threat emerges — the Tendokai (天導界), led by Yashima no Sagume and four warriors known as the Shijushi (四獣士), who have set out to “remake the world.” A new battle for the Samurai Troopers begins.

Episode 14 “Kiseki” Synopsis

Inmei of the Tendokai appears with the intent to destroy both the human world and the Yoja-kai realm. Standing at his side is Ryusei, clad in Tendokai garb.

Meanwhile, Rashinka — revived by seizing Gai’s body — turns his blade toward Inmei and Ryusei, throwing the battle into utter chaos.

What is the true meaning behind Ryusei’s cold, distant gaze directed at Kaito and the others? And when the harsh reality is laid bare before them, what choice will they make?
