The TV anime 「Buchikire Reijou wa Houfuku wo Chikaimashita. ~Madousho no Chikara de Sokoku wo Tatakitsubushimasu~」 (The Furious Lady Swore Revenge ~With the Power of a Magic Grimoire, I Will Crush My Homeland~) has officially announced its broadcast date. The series will begin airing on July 6, 2026, and has also revealed additional cast members and a main PV featuring the voices of the main characters.

Synopsis

The work is adapted from the novel by Hagure Metabo, published under HJ Novels / Hobby Japan. It tells the story of Elizabeth Rayston, a betrayed duchess who takes up the most powerful magic grimoire to exact revenge on every traitor.

Additional Cast

Two new cast members have been announced:

• Tida – Voiced by Yuu Serizawa. Tida is a female priest who travels on pilgrimage through rural villages to heal people with magic. Although she is a sister, she has an incredibly free-spirited and high-energy personality.
• Elsa Archfield – Voiced by Shizuka Ishigami. Elsa is an A-rank adventurer and the leader of the adventuring party Surudoki Kissaki. She possesses the sacred weapon 「Fenice Spada」(Phoenix Sword) and is known as “Elsa of the Phoenix.”

Main PV

The newly released main PV features the voices of previously announced characters, including Ikumi Hasegawa as Mirei Cataria, Yui Ogura as Lenoa Carlton, Ayumi Uehara as Misha Tail, Yohei Azagami as Lucas Lebrick, and Masaaki Mizunaka as Freed Haldria. The PV also previews part of the opening theme song 「Q.E.D.」, performed by Yui Ogura.

Yuu Serizawa (Tida)

“In real life, when we encounter unfairness or are treated improperly, we often let it pass, forget it, or move on. But in this story, Ellie deals with it head-on. Sometimes her decisiveness is breathtaking, and her strength and intelligence make it truly satisfying. For my own role, I was told during my first recording session that I was putting in too much energy (laughs), but that was because after reading the original work, I felt there was so much room to play with this character. I had a lot of fun creating her. I hope Tida becomes a character viewers find captivating. Please look forward to her!”

Shizuka Ishigami (Elsa Archfield)

“The most appealing part of this story is the satisfaction of watching Elizabeth take revenge one by one, just as the title suggests. Her quiet, deep anger is far more frightening than yelling. She is definitely someone you should not make angry. As for Elsa, she is an A-rank adventurer who uses a sword and fights alongside Elizabeth with Fenice Spada. I will do my best to convey her steadiness and reliability as a party leader.”
