A special collaboration TV commercial between the anime Osomatsu-san and electricity and gas company CD Energy Direct, titled “A-B-CD Energy: Public Bath Version”, has begun airing in the Kanto region.
The commercial is set in a public bath. Haruka Fukuhara, CD Energy Direct’s brand ambassador, plays a cleaning staff member humming the “A-B-CD Energy” song. The six brothers, who are visiting the bath, pick up the tune in a lively way. Eventually Fukuhara, the brothers, and the other bath customers all sing together as a cheerful chorus.
In addition to the commercial itself, a behind-the-scenes video and an interview clip with Fukuhara have also been released. In the interview, she talks about how it felt to participate in an Osomatsu-san collaboration commercial and answers a playful question about what she would like to do if she could spend time with the six brothers.
Osomatsu-san is approaching its 10th anniversary since its first broadcast, making this a special period for fans of the series.
