YOASOBI ยูนิตดนตรีชื่อดังจากญี่ปุ่น ผู้สร้างเพลง UNDEAD เพลงเปิดตัวAnime Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season

Japanese music duo YOASOBI, known for their concept of “turning novels into music,” has announced that the music video for their song “UNDEAD” — the theme song for the anime 〈Monogatari〉 Series Off & Monster Season — has surpassed 100 million views.

About “UNDEAD”

“UNDEAD” was digitally released on July 1, 2024, with music, lyrics, and arrangement by Ayase and vocals by ikura. The song is based on two short stories written exclusively for the project by 〈Monogatari〉 Series author Nisio Isin: “Nadeko Past (なでこパスト)” and “Shinobu Future (しのぶフューチャー)”. The music video blends footage from the anime itself with ending sequences, and drew an enormous response from fans immediately upon release.

Viral Success and Streaming Milestones

Since its release, “UNDEAD” has fueled a wave of Dance Challenges on short-form video platforms, particularly TikTok. Combined UGC and related videos on TikTok have now accumulated a staggering 900 million plays. In 2025, the track was also featured in a commercial for the “YOASOBEER PROJECT”, a collaboration between YOASOBI and Suntory Nama Beer, keeping the song firmly in the public eye nearly two years after its release.
