About the Film and the Siren Character
Chiikawa follows the everyday lives of the ever-earnest Chiikawa alongside friends Hachiware, Usagi, and a cast of colourful characters, blending heartwarming, bittersweet, and occasionally intense moments. The film is set to open on 24 July 2026, adapting the fan-favourite “Siren Arc” (セイレーン編) — a storyline that repeatedly trended on social media — into a full-length feature. “Siren” is a brand-new character making their debut in this film and is the focus of both new merchandise items.
