Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced on Thursday that The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE – Yotsuba Succession Arc – (Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Yotsuba Keishō-hen) will screen in theaters across the United States and Canada on November 1, 3, and 4. Both English-subtitled and English-dubbed screenings will be available.

Returning voice cast members include Yūichi Nakamura as Tatsuya Shiba, Saori Hayami as Miyuki Shiba, Chiwa Saitō as Maya Yotsuba, and Emiri Katō as Fumiya Kuroba. Joining the cast for this film are Daisuke Ono as Katsushige Shibata and Ai Kayano as Yuuka Tsukuba.

Release History and Franchise Background
The film held its premiere in Tokyo on April 28 before opening wide in Japan on May 8.
The franchise is based on Tsutomu Satou‘s light novel series, which launched in 2008 and concluded with its 32nd volume in September 2020. Two sequel volumes followed in October 2020 and January 2021.
The first TV anime adaptation aired in April 2014 for 26 episodes, followed by the second season, Visitor Arc, in October 2020 for 13 episodes. A third television season premiered in April 2024, streamed by Crunchyroll with English subtitles and an English dub. The franchise also includes the theatrical film The Girl Who Summons the Stars, which opened in Japan in June 2017, and the 13-episode spinoff anime The Honor Student at Magic High School, which premiered in July 2021.
Yen Press publishes the original light novel series and Yu Mori’s The Honor Student at Magic High School manga in North America.
