TV Asahi has unveiled a new key visual, an additional cast member, and an official premiere date for the television anime adaptation of Magic Repo Man: Dumped by My Party, I’ll Cash In With a Cute Support Fairy to Become the Strongest!, the manga by Masakichi and Shingou Iijima.
New Cast Member
Risae Matsuda joins the production as Linka, an adventurer who possesses the rare gift known as the “Asura Realm.” She joins a previously announced cast that includes:
- Reiji Kawashima as Lent
- Emiri Katō as Empee
- Daiki Hamano as Guy
- Akira Sekine as Misa
- Yū Kobayashi as Elle
Story
Set in an RPG-style world of swords and sorcery, the story follows Lent, a member of the rising party “Skypiercers” whose unique Gift allows him to loan enormous amounts of magic points to others. Thanks to his support, his companions grow into formidable heroes — but once they no longer need him, he is unceremoniously kicked out of the group.
Furious, Lent soon discovers a hidden power within his Gift: the ability to forcibly repossess every last scrap of magic he ever lent out — with interest. Teaming up with an adorably devious fairy partner, he sets out to claw back what is rightfully his from his former party.
Staff
The anime is produced at Synergy SP under the direction of Takahiro Tamano, who previously served as assistant director on Baban Baban Ban Vampire and The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil. Ryūsuke Mori is handling series scripts, and Kazue Mori is designing the characters.
Additional staff includes Haruko Nobori (color key artist), Kazuhiro Arai (art director), Yōhei Konishi (compositing director of photography), Masaki Sakamoto (editor), Keiko Urakami (sound director), and Kow Otani as music composer.
Premiere & Manga Details
The anime premieres on October 4 on the NUMAnimation block on TV Asahi and 23 affiliated channels at 25:30 (effectively Sunday at 1:30 a.m.), with a later broadcast on BS Asahi.
Masakichi originally launched the story on the Kakuyomu website in 2022. Iijima’s manga adaptation began serialization on BookLive and Flex Comics’ Comic Ark label in 2023; its second part is an original story separate from the web novel. The fifth compiled volume ships on November 14. Seven Seas has licensed the manga for English release, with the first volume scheduled for September 2026.
