Bandai’s apparel label STRICT-G — known for its “COOL JAPAN” men’s fashion rooted in the Gundam universe — is releasing a new line of phosphorescent (glow-in-the-dark) T-shirts inspired by the iconic Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. Special phosphorescent ink causes portions of each design to glow in the dark, making them a standout piece day or night.

- Char’s Zaku II — the signature red mobile suit of Char Aznable
- Haro — the beloved spherical green mascot robot
All three designs are available in both adult and children’s sizes, making them ideal for parent-and-child matching outfits.

About the Gundam Series
The Gundam franchise launched with Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979 and has grown over more than 45 years into a multimedia giant spanning TV series, theatrical films, OVAs, manga, novels, video games, and plastic model kits. Its hallmark is a richly layered portrayal of war, politics, and human drama set against large-scale mobile suit combat.
The next animated entry, Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO (Alex Zero), is set to begin broadcasting in April 2027. It will share its universe with the new action game GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT as part of a cross-media initiative called the “RG Project.”
