A TV anime adaptation of the isekai comedy light novel Dorei kara no Kitai to Hyoka no Sei de Sakushu Dekinai no da ga has been officially announced. Alongside the announcement, a so-called “Super Ultra Teaser Visual” was released to give fans their first taste of the series’ atmosphere.
About the Work
The novel is written by Kyukawa Kaire, with character designs by Heiro, and is published under KADOKAWA’s “Dengeki no Shin Bungeisha” label. The story is a comedic isekai tale built around a series of humorous misunderstandings.
Author’s Celebratory Comment
“I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the readers who have supported the series, as well as everyone involved in the project. Seeing scenes and backgrounds that were never touched upon in the original novel brought to life — filled with color, sound, and the breath of voice actors — is simply breathtaking. This is the greatest honor a writer could ask for. The anime team is both serious and full of playful spirit, and I personally can’t wait to see the finished product. This is an animation that will make you smile without even realizing it, so please look forward to it!”
Celebratory illustrations were also contributed by Heiro, the original character designer, and Nishioka Sachi, who handles the manga adaptation.
Current Release Status
The original light novel is currently available from volumes 1 through 4, with volume 5 scheduled for release on October 16. The manga adaptation has also released five volumes to strong reader reception.
Further details on the TV anime are yet to be revealed — stay tuned for future updates.
