Anime merchandise maker COSPA has revealed a new zip-up hoodie featuring Nyanko-sensei, the beloved bodyguard character from the TV anime Natsume’s Book of Friends (夏目友人帳), based on the manga by Yuki Midorikawa. The item is scheduled to go on sale in mid-January 2027.
Design Details
Officially titled the Nyanko-sensei Yojimbo Zip Hoodie, the garment comes in two colorways: Mix Grey and Coyote. Both the front and back panels feature printed artwork of Nyanko-sensei’s face, his paw prints, and the word “YOJIMBO”. The hoodie is built with an oversized hood and a double-zip construction that allows wearers to adjust the fit to their body type and preferred style. The fabric is 100% cotton, offering a soft feel against the skin.
