Story & Highlights
Based on the manga by Naru Narumi (serialised in Kodansha’s Monthly Young Magazine; 16 volumes), the series follows Naoto Wataru, a second-year high-school student who has cut romance, club activities, and friendships out of his life entirely in order to prioritise his younger sister Suzushiro, with whom he lives at their aunt’s home after losing their parents.
His carefully maintained routine is shattered when Satsuki Tatehana — a childhood friend who once destroyed the vegetable garden they had tended together six years earlier — transfers to his school. Her arrival sets off a chain reaction that gradually dismantles every relationship around Naoto.
In Cour 2, the love triangle between Naoto, Satsuki, and Murasaki Ishihara — the school’s beloved, guileless madonna — intensifies further, making the question of who (if anyone) Naoto will choose the central dramatic tension of the second half.
