About the Manga
Muchimaro launched the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2022. The 13th compiled volume shipped on August 17. Seven Seas publishes the English edition, with the first volume having shipped on September 8 and the second volume due on December 8. The series is also available digitally in English via K MANGA.
The story follows Ume Mizunoe, who joins the student council hoping for an easy solution to his academic troubles — only to find himself surrounded by a cast of eccentric, oddly endearing council members who bring endless chaos to his school life.
The manga received an animated promotional ad in July 2024 and won the print category of the ninth Next Manga Awards (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) in 2023.
